Traffic detection — Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) compliance
The IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) feature automatically detects network traffic and adjusts power consumption dynamically, enabling the switch to reduce power consumption during low link utilization periods. The GS1100 Series comes with IEEE 802.3az on/off button to help reduce power consumption. This button allows users to keep the best performance without transmit impacted or to have green support of Energy Efficient Ethernet mode with a simple push of a button.
Inactive link detection
The inactive link detection function automatically reduces power usage when inactive links or devices are detected. The ZyXEL GS1100 Series can adjust power consumption according to link status and the number of active network devices.
Cable length detection
This green feature enables the switch to automatically detect the length of connected Ethernet cables and adjust power usage accordingly. The shorter the cable length, the less power it consumes.
Fanless design
The complete GS1100 Series comes in a fanless design that ensures silent operation in small or quiet office environments. The GS1100-8HP and GS1100-10HP PoE models are specifically designed with an external power adapter that eliminates the need for an additional fan to cool down the device, making it perfect for quiet PoE deployments.

Freedom of installation via PoE (GS1100-8HP/10HP)
The GS1100-8HP/10HP supports the IEEE 802.3at PoE Plus standard to ease the installation of network devices in challenging spaces such as ceilings or walls. The power supply of up to 30 watts per port allows the GS1100-8HP/10HP to power PoE-enabled WLAN APs, VoIP phones and IP surveillance cameras through CAT-5 cables without extra power adapters. This feature helps enterprises reduce installation time and cost when there are many such devices on the network. The GS1100-10HP has been designed with eight full PoE Plus ports with total PoE power budget of up to 130 Watts, which makes it an ideal connectivity solution for high-density powered device deployments. Any order over £99 wil be shipped on our free 2-3 working day service, if you opt for Next Working Day shipping then this will be with you the next working day between 09:00 and 18:00. Deliveries to Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and the Scottish Highlands will be on a 3 day service.

How long is the returns policy?
For most products bought online, you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days and receive a refund. If you wish to return unwanted products, you must let us know that you want to return them within 14 calendar days from the day after delivery. The item must also be returned to us within 7 working days from approval of return and receipt of the return label.
How long will it take to receive my order?
This is something that we are working hard to bring to you - we recognise that having deliveries on preferred days not only makes it easier for you but it is also great for the environment. By having deliveries arranged on days that you are going to be in or consolidating your orders to arrive to you at the same time means that the courier won't need to come back multiple times due to missed deliveries or multiple deliveries.
