When drive capacity is running low on a Synology RackStation, Synology RX1217/RX1217RP offers an easy way to immediately expand storage by providing 12 additional drive slots. The RAID volume on the Synology RackStation can be expanded directly without having to reformat the existing hard drives, ensuring service continuity during the expansion process. To ensure 24/7 service uptime, Synology RX1217RP is equipped with redundant power supplies, allowing automatic failover support if one of the PSUs fail.
When created as a separate volume, Synology RX1217/RX1217RP also serves as an additional local backup destination for Synology RackStations.

Synology RX1217/RX1217RP securely connects to Synology RackStation servers with a high-bandwidth expansion cable, ensuring maximum data throughput and smooth operation — as if they are part of the internal drives of Synology RackStation. SATA 6Gb/s interface ensures the installed drives provide high quality, outstanding data processing performance.
Green & easy to manage
Hibernation mode can be manually configured to start automatically when the system has been inactive for a period of time. This not only saves energy but also extends the lifespan of hard drives. Any order over £99 wil be shipped on our free 2-3 working day service, if you opt for Next Working Day shipping then this will be with you the next working day between 09:00 and 18:00. Deliveries to Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and the Scottish Highlands will be on a 3 day service.

How long is the returns policy?
For most products bought online, you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days and receive a refund. If you wish to return unwanted products, you must let us know that you want to return them within 14 calendar days from the day after delivery. The item must also be returned to us within 7 working days from approval of return and receipt of the return label.
How long will it take to receive my order?
